I
would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to our
school! My name is Mary Engle, and I teach the Monday –
Tuesday class for three-year-old children and also a
Wednesday-Thursday-Friday Pre-K class. This year will be my 21st
year at St. Paul. My favorite activities with the children are reading
stories, music, cooking, science experiments, and crafts. I am married
and have one son, Justin, who attended school in Golden, Colorado. He
just completed his Master’s in chemistry. Justin also attended St. Paul
Community Nursery School. I also have a 16 ½ year old dog named Pepper
(just like having a two-year old at home!). When I am not planning fun
activities for the children in my classes, I love gardening, working on my fishpond, and home decorating. |

enjoy teaching and I have taught many grade levels. I have been having

Hi, I’m Denise White and I’ve
been at St. Paul Community Nursery School for
The enjoyment of work each day is spent in the classroom with 14 unique children. I love to get to know each child individually and be able to give them what they need whether it is a hug, pat on the back, or just kind words. That is truly the joy of this job along with the excitement of making new friends and watching each child grow academically and socially throughout the school year. I am thankful each day for the opportunity to teach these children!
My husband, Ed and I live in Lititz and have raised our children in this wonderful community. Ed and I share our lives with our children Shannon, Shawn (alumni of St. Paul’s), daughter-in-law Megan and our dog Dexter.
Outside of the joy of teaching children, I love spending time with family and friends. My hobbies are knitting, reading and working outdoors in the flower gardens and watching birds. |
